After receiving repeated reminders from Bull guard online as the deadline for my Internet Security renewal got closer I decided to contact Damian to see if what they were offering was really a good deal or not. Bull Guard were offering £33.75 for 12 months which included a 25% discount ! After a quick phone call to Damian at PC Pal Stockport, he was able to arrange a further 12 months Bull Guard cover for just '£25'. Mark was exceptionally helpful and informative in giving my somewhat old computer a stay of execution. His explanations were clear and concise and he did not make me feel a fool in my lack of technical knowledge. He advised as to the most appropriate replacement for my needs when the time comes. The PCPAL Engineer (Peter) visited as soon as was convenient for me following my call.
He was totally professional and friendly and gave me every confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing.
He installed a new router and answered several of my questions. Having discovered that my broadband speed is totally unacceptable, he spoke to my ISP, who have promised to send an engineer to check the problem - which is hopefully an external one. I will have no hesitation in asking Peter to visit again once the broadband problem is resolved, to answer several other queries.

Peter Clarke, Andover, provided a first-class service for us in upgrading Windows 7 to 10. Subsequently we tried ourselves to operate Sage on the upgrade, and failed miserably. Peter came very quickly and,in spite of the programme's best efforts to frustrate him, he found and fixed the problem within the hour - a service and ability without parallel in my view - definitely five-star!

My computer suffered a major crash and refused to boot up. Keith came out rapidly, diagnosed a faulty SSD and took it away to repair. He re-installed Windows 10, recovered all my data then brought the machine back to complete re-installation of software and re-install printers and scanners.The level and quality of service exceeded all expectations. The charge for the service was fair and reasonable. I have decided now to engage Keith to carry out an annual check on my computer to help avoid further crashes in the future.
I recommend PC PAL and Keith as first responders to any computer issues.

A good service and very professional, but feel the cost was a bit expensive. Could a sliding scale be adopted for example? if the job is completed in less than one hour (which ours was) a 10% is deducted from the bill, I am sure customers would appreciate this gesture.

After initially getting the computer to function (I did not follow how) it appeared that somewhere in the installation there is am unreliable connection but although extensive efforts were made it could not be identified. When it suddenly failed again nothing was being touched - and when the equipment was started up again it worked normally.

My computer had been hacked by an Bogus Repair Mob
asking me to pay for a service which i didnt think i needed, when i refused they kept phoning me to say the work had to be done, i again said no, they then removed all my Software, i could not use the computer.
I checked Yellow Pages and spoke to your Engineer in my area,told him the problems, he came we spoke said he would take it away and check it.
he phoned me and said he could sort the problem.
I agreed, he carried out the work returned my computer, set it up ran through the system explaining to me as he went,
He did an Excellent job, at a reasonable cost.
I will use your Company again if i need to.

I really panic when my computer fails to work but find Chris Gauden comes to my aid very quickly. On this occasion he tried really hard to get my Windows E Mail program back on track but after numerous attempts - even using different servers he had to admit defeat due to Microsoft phasing out the updating support for Windows Vista. He did however explain and show me in detail how to use the Sky Yahoo E Mail for printing and scanning and all the other operations I used on Windows Mail. Many thanks Chris nothing seemed too much trouble and you reassured me to have the confidence to continue using my computer.

My Desktop Computer was hacked by a "Ransomware" virus. Keith was able to remove the virus but all my Microsoft Windows files and photographs were still encrypted. The only course open was to reinstall Windows 7 which Keith did along with other essential software in his usual efficient manner.
Fortunately I back up my data files weekly so I was able to restore my PC to its pre-hacked condition.
