Super Software Options For University

Students who have secured university or college places for the coming academic year will now be planning ahead for the next exciting chapter of their education.

There are some interesting software offers available to those enrolled in accredited institutions of higher education and tooling up for a course.

Microsoft Office 365 University makes the full Office suite available from any location to eligible users over four years for a mere £60.
That works out at less than 30p per week. For full use of the latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access and Outlook, that is a good deal.

The 365 licence extends to two devices, so, for instance, it can be used on a computer in student digs during the evening and a tablet in the lecture theatres by day.
This needs of course, internet connectivity, because 365 is a cloud based version of Office.
Also, 15 Gbytes of storage is included in the deal.

Far more expensive, but worth considering if you can afford it, is Adobe Creative Cloud. Where the image, publishing, website and video tools, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Premiere, will be a vital support for coursework, then the student offer of £15.88 per month may sound a lot, but is a whopping saving on the list price of £46.88 per month.

More down to earth is Amazon Student, a specially designed discounts and offers package for students.
This is free for six months and £39 per year thereafter and includes unlimited one-day delivery on more than seven million items’ and ‘great student offers’ including a trial of Amazon Prime with its Instant Video and Kindle Lending Library services.
