This monitors and analyses time spent on screen and is another multi-platform App.
A student holed up at their desk to write an essay on the computer can be too easily diverted into WhatsApp or You Tube.
Before they know it, time scheduled for homework has evaporated away.
RescueTime can monitor time spent using each application or website and present a summary.
It can record goals, like ‘no more than 20 minutes a day on Facebook’ and report back whether it is achieved.
While the kids generally object to parents telling them to do their homework, they might be more compliant if it is their beloved phones and laptops organising them up!
