Anyone who has brought an iPhone 5 on EE you may want to look away now.
Mobile provider Three has spoke up today about upgrading all current customers on their Three network to use the Superfast network for free. Three says "We don't want to limit ultrafast services to a select few based on a premium price and we've decided our customers will get this service as standard."
This is great news for all mobile users as this will put pressure on all mobile providers to upgrade their customers to this service for free.
Current so-called 'Ultrafast' devices include the iPhone 5, the Lumia 920, Sony's Xperia Z, the iPad mini and iPad with Retina display. LTE versions of the Samsung Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II are being launched on Three within the next month, and the BlackBerry Z10 will arrive on the network in mid-February 2013.
