For the seventh year in a row, PC PAL have been announced as finalists for the prestigious PCR Awards 2016.
The annual PCR Awards are arguably the most prestigious awards in the IT sector, with multi national companies such as Amazon, John Lewis, Tesco and Microsoft vying for an award against smaller companies such as ourselves.
The 'Frontline' awards category recognises excellence in UK customer-facing organisations, whether they are on the High Street, online or dealing with businesses. The winners of these awards will be those organisations that have best represented the UK technology industry to the outside world.
PC PAL has been announced as a Finalist in the 'National Retailer' sub category (we were previously nominated in the 'Independent Retailer' category, but have been upgraded!).
The other finalists in this category are John Lewis, Argos, Maplin and Tesco - some of the UK's heavyweight retailers with huge presence and resources, which makes our inclusion with these companies all the more impressive!
This year's PCR Awards take place on Thursday March 10th again at the prestigious Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington (which backs onto the London home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace as well as Kensington Palace Gardens, reputed to be Britain's most expensive road for residential property with only billionaires and diplomatic embassies being able to afford this exclusivity). Find out more about the awards at PCR Awards official website.
With the finalists now decided, a panel of selected leading computing/technology channel execs will be asked to vote. Judges will be named once the winners have been revealed.
Founder Jat Mann said: 'Yet again absolutely thrilled to be nominated again this year, particular within the 'National Retailer' category, rubbing shoulders with the likes of John Lewis and Tesco!
The award nomination continues to show that our engineers give our customers total dedication and excellent service, which is really noticed by the industry insiders and beyond. I'd again like to thank all our loyal customers and franchisees for helping us achieve this nomination and we're keeping our fingers tightly crossed this year again!'.
Judging criteria includes product knowledge, customer satisfaction, success rate and marketing activity.
