For the sixth year in a row, PC PAL have been announced as finalists for the prestigious PCR Awards 2015.
The annual PCR Awards are arguably the most prestigious awards in the IT sector, with multi national companies such as Amazon, John Lewis, Tesco and Microsoft vying for an award against smaller companies such as ourselves. Seventy five different companies from across the technology and computing channel have become finalists for the PCR Awards in 2015. PC PAL has been announced as a Finalist in the Independent Retailer category (formally called the Service & Support category).
This year's Awards take place on Thursday March 12th again at the prestigious Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington (which backs onto the home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace as well as Kensington Palace Gardens, reputed to be Britain's most expensive road for residential property). Find out more about the awards at PCR Awards official website.
With the finalists now decided, a panel of 100 leading computing/technology channel execs will be asked to vote. Judges will be named once the winners have been revealed.
There are two exceptions – the Grand Prix Award, which will be voted for by the PCR team, and the new Special Recognition Award, which will be chosen by PCR’s Retail Advisory Panel, which our founder Jat Mann is a member.
Jat said: 'Yet again absolutely thrilled to be nominated again this year, particular after winning the award at the 2013 ceremony. The award nomination continues to show that our engineers give our customers total dedication and excellent service, which is really noticed by the industry insiders and beyond. I'd again like to thank all our franchisees for helping us achieve this nomination and we're keeping our fingers crossed this year again!'.
Judging criteria includes product knowledge, customer satisfaction, success rate and marketing activity. PC PAL had been nominated 5 times previously in this category before scooping the prize in 2013.
