Andrew Wright, our newest Franchisee who covers the Denbighshire and North Wales region has recently completed the North Wales Bike Ride, helping raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
On Sunday 13 May 2012 Andrew and his wife Michelle cycled 30 miles in 3 hours and 45 minutes and raised £200 for the charity. The sun was out and we have been told that a great day was had by all! The event included 3 different routes - 8 miles, 15 miles and 30 miles. The 30 mile route that Andrew completed starts at Rhyl, goes out towards St Asaph and Bodelwyddan, before returning to the events arena.
The British Heart Foundation are the nation's heart charity. Their vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease. The British Heart Foundation achieve this through pioneering research, vital prevention activity and ensuring quality care and support for everyone living with heart disease. They have constant fund-raising events throughout the year around the UK including cycling, swimming, walking, running and even skydives!
