When I spoke to Bruce I found he was on holidays, too. However, he offered to ring me
back later or, the next day.We used Team Viewer and he was able to fix the problem there and then.

Bruce responded to my email very quickly and despite being late on a Friday made a point of visiting in the evening at a time when I arrived home from work. I made him aware of what I thought was the problem beforehand (over heating CPU) and he came prepared to troubleshoot that issue which suggests he took on board what I had to say and valued my input. He resolved this issue efficiently and was very clear in describing his actions step by step so his approach and methodology were very transparent. In the end the problem was fixed and continues to be, this was less than 24 hrs after it occurred. A dodgy router required Bruce to lend me his at his visit yesterday, and I subsequently found that my printer wasn't able to function. So, Bruce spent an hour on the phone with me the following morning (today) and between us we got it functioning again. His knowledge of systems, hardware and soft ware is encyclopedic, whereas mine is rudimentary. Very thorough. New pc and wanted data transfer and got a tutorial whilst he was working on the various new items on my new machine.
Sold me Office at a very reasonable rate and installed it. Ran through it quickly as well.
Not everything I wanted happened, probably my fault for not checking while he was here, but a very quick response via email and hopefully we can sort out things remotely.
All in all very pleased with the service. Especially as they deal with Apple as well, so many don't and my husband uses an iMac.

Bruce did a great job. My expensive laptop was stuck in an endless 'please wait' cycle at boot up. He fixed the problem, updated Windows and also created a reboot USB stick and driver backup just in case of future problems. All in quick time as he knew I needed it for my business. I was asked to do a talk at 4Networking in Kings Hill, Kent and met Bruce Meredeen of PC Pal at the meeting. I was quite impressed by the way he spoke and the confidence he had. I explained that I had a very old laptop that needed to be put back to factory standard as it was too good to be trashed. He told me that would be really easy and would take little or no time to sort out.
I have heard this kind of talk before and did not have too much faith in what was said. He said he would contact me and sure enough that happened on time. He then explained to me exactly what was required. It sounded so simple. The next day a disk arrived as promised and I carried out what he had explained.
It really was just as easy as he told me it would be. I do not know a lot about computers but he made it so simple.
I do not like to give testimonials as I think often they are given out like confetti but this one is a must. He really is exceptionally good at what he does. He is a man of his word and that is very hard to find.
I now have an “old†laptop that works as good as my new laptop. He has done what most people promise but can never deliver. He truly has saved me time and money.
I highly recommend him to anyone who would like to have trouble free computing.
